The Summit Rainforest Retreat is situated at the peak of Halloran's Hill, which is an extinct volcano with an environmental walk into
its crater. The artistically interpreted "Lookout", provides Panoramic
views. Atherton, is a small town in the centre of the unspoilt
Atherton Tablelands, only an hours drive from Cairns. The Atherton
Tablelands or "Cairns Highlands", is an unspoilt paradise,
relatively untouched by commercial enterprises, yet a diverse flora
& fauna parkland. Natural wonders abound, all within short
drives of our establishment.
The Summit Rainforest Retreat's, 1 bedroom apartment caters for
singles, couples, families, travel groups and those
returning to Atherton for special occasions. Enjoy our heated
pool & spa on the huge entertainment deck, which includes a poolside
TV, BBQ, refrigerator, bar, 180 degree views and open
fireplace. This will
enable guests to cook and relax at poolside, having the advantages of
quality boutique accommodation without paying for the entire
Retreat.

area".

The Summit Rainforest Retreat is 1.5 kms from the Main St of Atherton, close to
restaurants, shops, & pubs. It is also only a 10 minute drive to
Yungaburra with further restaurants and the historic Lake Eacham
Hotel.
